Normalisation · equipercentile · 2 Jun 2025
Since SSC's notice of 2 June 2025 marks are normalised by the equipercentile method: your percentile position within your shift is matched to an equivalent mark, so fewer raw marks in a harder shift can count the same. Published cutoffs are in these normalised marks; a mock score is raw, so any comparison is approximate.
